Opus Mitchell has a large team of recruitment experts, all with specific experience in the finance sector. We invite you to meet the senior management team - the people that set the benchmark for service.
Andrew Mitchell MA (Oxon)
DirectorAndrew founded Opus Mitchell in 1997, having felt first-hand the need for a recruitment specialist that understood the banking and financial world. Andrew started his career on the graduate accelerated training programme of Lloyds TSB and worked in business banking, commercial banking plus strategic planning. From there Andrew went on to work for HSBC Invoice Finance in business development.
When Andrew isn't busy in the recruitment world he likes the outdoor life and enjoys sailing, skiing, surfing and mountain biking, although he admits that his hectic family life somehow doesn't leave much time for anything.

Pet hates...spelling mistakes on CVs.
Top Tip: "Be loyal to your recruitment agent. They are there to help you and you should ask them for whatever support you need."
David Calleja-Gera
Recruitment ConsultantDavid joined Opus Mitchell in 2005, fresh from HS Finance, the commercial finance broker. For HS Finance David helped to set up their southern office and grow the market as a Business Development Manager. Previous to that David was with Lombard in their Broker division, managing London and the South East region, and before that in their commercial vehicle division working with the likes of Scania Finance and DAF. David's financial career began at Royscot Trust and he stayed in the Group when they bought Lombard.
After a hard day of recruitment David heads either for the gym or home to his new house. When he's not doing house stuff he retreats to his own music studio and enjoys producing new tracks.

Would most like to visit...Australia - so many of his friends have loved it.

Top Tip: "If you ask for the advice of an expert listen carefully to what's being recommended. A third party often has a more objective long term view and should steer you for future success."
Lisa Morris
Office Manager
Lisa has been slaving at Opus Mitchell for over seven years and now manages the office as well as her own recruitment portfolio. Specialising in consumer finance, retail banking and motor finance, Lisa now has long relationships with her clients and enjoys the busy environment. According to Lisa the best thing about her work is that every day is different and she gets to speak to lots of people from very different backgrounds.
On the moments when Lisa isn't working she enjoys walks with her two lively German Shepherd dogs and tries to get to see live bands when she can.
Loves the smell of...a roast dinner cooking.
Would most like to visit...Canada - to tour the wilderness and see the forest scenery.
