Salary: Upto 55K basic Job Type: Factoring Inv Discounting Location: North West Senior Client Manager Lending Mid Market – Manchester Office · Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the position is based in the Manchester office working within a small team of up to 10 people in our mid-market client base. Typically this will involve managing a portfolio of clients with turnovers ranging from £20MM to £100MM; · The role represents the maintenance of risk and relationship across a portfolio of 15-20 large asset based and cash flow lends incorporating the following mix of facilities: Ø Revolving accounts receivables facilities Ø Revolving Inventory Facilities Ø 3-5 year term Plant & Machinery facilities Ø 5 year Real Estate facilities Ø Trade Finance facilities · The role will involve up to 50% of the time in client facing scenarios covering a client base covering the North and Midlands. · The candidate will possess strong analytical and financial analysis skills with respect to reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts and clients forecasts and budgets and presenting these internally to risk and credit committees and being capable of having robust discussions with management and advisors with respect to the financial information; · The candidate should possess a solid understanding of the collateral traits of receivables, inventory, P&M and real estate, although appropriate training can be given for the right individual; · A proven track record in the following industries: Ø Accounts receivable financing/ ABL financing; Ø Corporate banking Ø ACA qualification with 2-3 years PQE (Transaction structure/Corporate Recovery/Corporate Financing experience preferred but not essential) · Capable of developing strong customer driven relationships at board level with the client base and maintaining relationships with the regional business communities to further enhance the reputation of the Bank within the market place; · Strong written and oral presentation skills to communicate client situations and/or amendments to client facilities; · Strong time and project management skills to ensure adherence to transaction driven deadlines and risk review cycles. · The individual will be a self-starter capable of managing their own workload and operating in a team environment. The right individual will demonstrate pro-active solution driven thinking; · Involvement in cross-functional activities including sales, underwriting and process improvement projects.
