This leading UK private bank is recruiting two experienced private bankers with at least 5 years experience to manage the sales and lending operations of its Manchester and Leeds offices. The focus is on leading a team of managers to deliver world class customer relationship management to a diverse and complex range of ultra high net worth private banking customers.

 

Private Banking Manager – Role Profile

 

This is an opportunity to join one of the world's premier wealth managers. We have been asked by our client to appoint a senior, experienced UK Private Banker with an existing book of business to the UHNW coverage team in Manchester and Leeds .

Due to the continued expansion and success of the business, an opportunity has arisen in the Ultra High Net Worth coverage team in London . This team focuses specifically on UK onshore individuals with highly significant investible assets. Due to the semi-institutional nature of many UHNW clients and families, the product and advisory offering in this team is extremely diverse and highly skilled. As an open-architecture platform a full range of alternative investment products including hedge fund, real estate and private equity are available to clients. We are interested in talking with experienced UK-focused Private Bankers, with a mature book of business. Essentially focused on the UK HNW-UHNW market, the successful applicant is likely to be highly experienced. Additionally, individuals who have a background in investment banking or markets, prior to embarking on their private banking career would be of special interest. This is due to the breadth and level of technical lending and investment expertise that sophisticated clients at this level will expect and demand. Ideally the individual will be currently focusing on UHNW clients but we are also interested in speaking to HNW bankers with a UK onshore focus who have the ability to step up into this challenging role. You must be confident, outgoing and well-organised, you must be a strong communicator who can drive the achievement of targets and build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders whilst consistently maintaining focus on customer service and compliance. Experience of managing a large team and of making lending decisions upon Private banking client management experience is essential.     Salary Package   £40 – 65,000 Basic pay and excellent bonus and benefits package.
