Our Client is an established UK Bank. Job Purpose Reporting to the Head of Credit Analysis and Business Management, the Head of Risk Measurement and Portfolio Predictive Modelling will be required to create a Centre of Excellence for the development and maintenance of the credit risk rating systems across the banks network In addition to maintaining and developing the existing PD rating system and further developing EAD and LGD models for UKRB unsecured lending products, the successful candidate will internalise expertise in portfolio modelling for the purposes of capital and loss forecasting and stress testing. Accountabilities The core accountabilities for this role include but are not limited to the following: Build an industry leading retail credit risk measurement team through the broadening and deepening of the capabilities of the existing team; Develop, enhance and monitor EAD and LGD models for UKRB unsecured credit portfolios and assist the credit portfolio teams in embedding their usage in business decision making; Maintain the PD segmentation and estimation regime utilising scorecard models built by the UKRB Decision Sciences team; Assess the impact of rating model enhancements, redevelopments and performance issues on the Group’s Risk Weighted Asset and capital requirements. Ensure the ongoing compliance of these models with BIPRU and other regulatory requirements; Support the business planning process through the further development of portfolio modelling capabilities in order to forecast losses and capital requirements under both benign and stressed economic scenarios.
