Corporate Business Development Manager Our Client is as top 5 Bank with an established presence in the Invoice Discounting Market. Job Description Our Client is seeking an experienced candidate to join their Corporate team and be responsible for winning quality new business within Invoice Finance business. In this key role you will deliver new business opportunities within the specialised finance and corporate sectors to maximise contribution towards the Annual Operating Plan. You will be presenting new business proposals to our high-value customers and will be handling large and complex Invoice Finance and Asset based lending deals which will be subject to time pressures and effective negotiation with key parties. You’ll be working collaboratively with Corporate Banking Centres, Specialised Finance teams and external introducers and you will also be required to work on non-standard transactions where you will assist with developing and extending Invoice Finance’s product offering. The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience: Receivables and Asset Based Lending Industry experience Extensive experience working in sales or business banking Experience of corporate transactions Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills You’ll have a commercial focus on your work, combining it with your own professional knowledge to create pragmatic business solutions and drive through strategy, acting as a role model for other managers. You’ll maintain an up to date knowledge of technical and product developments to ensure delivery consistently meets customer needs, and you’ll be aware of the impact of your guidance upon customers, ensuring compliance with the Bank’s key customer and business ethos of “Treating Customers Fairly” and “Best Place to Bank” at all times. You’ll be keen to find practical but innovative, high quality solutions to meet business needs and you’ll be committed to providing advice and support to others. You’ll also have a resilient and focused outlook and be capable of working effectively in challenging conditions.
