Our client is a High St Bank. You must have prior experience of managing and building a portfolio of commercial or corporate level business banking customers.
In this role you will manage and develop a portfolio of between 20 and 50 existing commercial relationships, with customers who have a high-range income of between £10 million and £25 million and complex demands. In addition, you will be responsible for the acquisition of new commercial clients.
Confident in challenging upwards and quick to spot opportunities to cross-sell, you must have a strong understanding of products and the complexities of commercial issues. An effective and persuasive communicator, you must be capable of building strong and credible internal relationships and writing clear and concise reports to put forward your case on why credit applications should be approved.
Principal Skills • Ability to accurately analyse trends, financial data, market
information and company status to make informed decisions
regarding highly complex credit issues
• Proactive in researching and contacting prospective customers
• Effective time planning and prioritising to ensure that work is
actioned promptly, efficiently and within compliance regulations
• Builds rapport, trust and effective relationships with customers

internally to ensure they deliver on their commitment to the
customer

Salary £35,000 - £50,000 basic dependent on experience, plus excellent bonus potential and benefits package.
