Job Title Bus Financial Planning Advisor - Barnsley - Home based Our Client is an established UK Bank who are using the present financial crisis to grow their market share. Job Description The Business Financial Planning Advisor provides financial advice and tied services to Business Banking customers ranging from start-ups to existing businesses up to £2m turnover with a particular emphasis on protection and investment products available. The successful candidate will operate within a highly complex and demanding environment and spend the majority of their time dealing directly with new and existing customers to explore their current circumstances and future needs and objectives. They subsequently provide (‘sell’) advice and products that are: a) aligned with the strategic vision of the Bank; b) compliant; and c) focused on customer need according to the FSA’s guidelines on ‘Treating Customers Fairly’. On a day-to-day basis, you will: Support the Local Business Managers and assist in the development of less experienced Financial Planning Advisors Help resolve queries from management, staff and customers Identify coaching and development needs Assess operational risks and address any areas of concern with line management or relevant department To succeed as a Business Financial Planning Advisor you will have a consistently positive attitude, remaining calm even when under heavy pressure. You will be driven, dedicated and determined to achieve and exceed goals and customer expectations. Experience / Qualifications · Qualifications in Financial Planning by achieving full CEFA, FPC or a recognised industry equivalent qualification · Satisfy the FSA criteria for an approved person both initially and ongoing · Achieve and retain Competent Adviser status · Knowledge of corporate pensions
