Business Development Manager - Business Banking
Our Client is a well known banking organisation. As Business Development Manager you are tasked to source, develop and drive new business to increase our client´s overall share of the market profit pool, targeting businesses turning over £5million - £100million, in the South Oxfordshire / High Wycombe areas.
Successful candidates will have proven prior sales experience in business banking, asset finance / leasing, invoice finance / invoice discounting / factoring.
Key responsibilities:
1) Develop and deliver a range of banking opportunities, establishing new client relationships both direct to prospects and via introducers.
2) Demonstrate confidence and experience in networking with a proven track record of delivering significant amounts of new business.
3) Establish, develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships with introducers and stakeholders.
4) Arrange and attend networking events with target clients and introducers.
5) Undertake transaction negotiations with appropriate parties, e.g. customers, prospects, advisors, internal credit, other funders.
6) Oversee, prepare and review credit applications and completion of due diligence.
7) Oversee/undertake risk assessment including appropriate sensitivity analysis to mitigate against potential losses.
You must have a proven track record in business banking, asset finance / leasing or invoice finance sales, with solid credit skills.
